Level 44

Level 44 O-Sum!

The main problem I have had with getting Trog's up is the fact that once I got into PvMP that was it for quite a long time as being a Horde at heart I always love playing Monster's.

I ranked up CrashNBurn to Rank #5 at long last.

MaggotBarker is Rank #4 and is about half way to ranking up.

Decided to finish off a few quest had ins and stepping stones in various odd and far away places....

So the Anzacs have there own House and had our first dueling contest outside it, I even won a couple of them heaven forbid!

Finally got round to buying troggle a House, located in The Shire of course! Have to say the new housing addition is pretty cool and actually quite allot of fun actually, definately impressed with it.

It's handy having an Auction House in Rivendell as it's close to allot of newly added content in Book #11.

Been spending time in mainly the Misty Moutains grinding and questing in the new stuff there.

Well back to getting to the next level, I really would like to raid The Rift some day (the newly added 12 man instance).

Level 43

Level 43....

I have actually been 43 for a few days and been meaning to update the blog....

Finally go to do a full Fornost run as well.

Was allot of fun I have to say. It's a large instance and it was certainly good to kill the last boss and clear the place!

Level 42

Level 42 is here.....

I know its been a while since I updated Trog's blog the main reason for the delay is that I have been playing Monster Play most of the time now as it's allot of fun and have a rank #4 War Leader and a rank #4 Warg.

Was good to ding to 42 I must say as I am now wearing the full Celebrant's set.

Level 41

Level 41 neato!

Spent all of this time leveling in Angmar which has been fun, managed to do allot of solo quests which has been fun and also got some really nice weapons upgrades.

Been doing some Player vs Player Monster play. Basically it happens in the Ettenmoors zone and it's all single instanced :-).

I have to say its allot of fun, its just like the old skool in WoW's "Tarren Mill" days and much more like a real battle than instanced PVP so I prefer it and think it is much better.

Wasn't easy as most of the Monster Players are level 50 but I decided to pursiveer and lay low!

The ranking sytem is accumalitive, works just like XP and is also instant (yippie no lame having to wait to rank up after maintenance)

So getting to this level has been a blast so far, gonna try to get another PvMP rank before my next ding if I can....

Level 40 YEAH BABY!

So finally managed to hit the infamous level 40!

Did a decent bunch of questing and grinding lots of various monsters in Evendim this time which was some fun.

Also finally completed the Thief Takers - Bane quest, man what a pain that was . Would of failed it at least 40 times with various different random pugs some worse than others.

Spent a little bit of time in Trollshaws, but only very briefly doing the A better sort of Giant quest and helping a few randoms.

So now its time to put on my first pieces of the Celebrant set woooot and gave some of this MPVP a go and got Rank #1!

Level 39

Level 39 at last.

Spent most of is this time just grinding in Trollshaws trying to get back some of the gold I keep blowing on set pieces on the auction house, lol.

So it took a bit longer as I spent most of this leveling just killing various monsters and probably only completed 3-4 quest's all up.

Now only one more level till level 40 and I can finally start doing some MPVP (Monster Player Vs Player) which I have been really looking forward too.

Definately gonna quest a bit more for the next level as it is allot quicker and I will spend it in Evendim this time as thats where the majority of my remaining quests currently reside....

Level 38

Hello mr Level 38!

Spent most of the time in Trollshaws doing the odd quest.

Level 37

Level 37 here we are!

Spent quite a bit of time in North Downs doing quests with other Anzac members in Dol Dinen.

Spent a wee bit of time in Evendim as well. The Theif Takers - Bane quest has been a real pain and I reckon I would of failed in 30+ times at least now with various groups, I think that ones gonna need a Kinship run to get it sorted.

I am looking forward to finally getting to level 40 which is the minimum level you can PVP against player controlled monster's.

Finally 6/6 Dwarf Hoard Set!

Wooooot, finally collected the whole Dwarf Hoard set!

I know its not a completely burgler focused set but well I think playing games for fun is more important these days (man what a radical game design concept).

And I didnt even have to farm a single monster (though I would of if I knew what ones) and just camped the AH a bit each day., Would of cost 7-8 gold all up I reckon which is like 2 mounts, no small virtual monetary feet!

Well that is more like it! No having to spend months farming some silly boss at then end of a 2-3 hour instance some where and the loot u want doesn't drop (at the end of my WoW playing I realized, I didn't have it in me to do that 24th herioc underbog clear) , much more palettable a game epxerience and 5 million times less time wasting and enjoyable.

And one of the coolest things is that it shows a visual effect of a golden bubble and play a sound effect when you equip the last piece.

Level 36

Finally level 36!

Spent most of it in Evendim this time round doing quests, seemed a bit harder this time but I am getting the hang of the place.

Also spent time in Rivendell as well, the place is beautiful and looks just as magical as it did in the movie. Even got to finally meet Frodo and Sam.

And at last finally got to meet Gandalf too.

Also got 2 new set pieces too, wooootage! Even tho its not really a burgler set it seems fine by me! :-)

The sets are not bind on pickup so no having to spend weeks grinding some instance to get your set when some one is nice enough to post the pieces on the AH for ya! Its definately an improvement in my opinion over WoW in that regard.
