Level 38

Hello mr Level 38!

Above: Recently dinged to 38 in Trollshaws

Spent most of the time in Trollshaws doing the odd quest.

Above: A view of Rivendell from the hills.

Also been trying to grind a bit more gold this time having spent a bit on the auction house on upgrades.

Above: Scrapping out a Bear in the Trollshaws

Reckon it will be back to Evendim for 39 leveling.

Level 37

Level 37 here we are!

Above: Recently dinged to level 37 in Evendim.

Spent quite a bit of time in North Downs doing quests with other Anzac members in Dol Dinen.

Above: One of those big nasty Troll's in Dol Dinen.

Spent a wee bit of time in Evendim as well. The Theif Takers - Bane quest has been a real pain and I reckon I would of failed in 30+ times at least now with various groups, I think that ones gonna need a Kinship run to get it sorted.

Above: The Anzac Evendim Iron Man, between me and Genius :-P :-)

I am looking forward to finally getting to level 40 which is the minimum level you can PVP against player controlled monster's.

Above: Another nice shot of Evendim.

And as always the game just goes on dripping with great looking eye candy.

Above: Nothing like a midnight ride to the full moon!

Well off to level once again!

:-)

Finally 6/6 Dwarf Hoard Set!

Wooooot, finally collected the whole Dwarf Hoard set!

Above: The complete Dwarf Hoard set.

I know its not a completely burgler focused set but well I think playing games for fun is more important these days (man what a radical game design concept).

And I didnt even have to farm a single monster (though I would of if I knew what ones) and just camped the AH a bit each day., Would of cost 7-8 gold all up I reckon which is like 2 mounts, no small virtual monetary feet!

Above: Your Dwarf Hoard home bwoy hanging in Bree.

Well that is more like it! No having to spend months farming some silly boss at then end of a 2-3 hour instance some where and the loot u want doesn't drop (at the end of my WoW playing I realized, I didn't have it in me to do that 24th herioc underbog clear) , much more palettable a game epxerience and 5 million times less time wasting and enjoyable.

And one of the coolest things is that it shows a visual effect of a golden bubble and play a sound effect when you equip the last piece.

Above: Heres the golden bubble that appears with a sound effect that both fade as you equip the final 6th piece of the set, how cool is that?

Well I am pretty stoked about that one, nice job LOTRO team!

:-)

Level 36

Finally level 36!

Above: Me recently dinged to level 36 in Evendim

Spent most of it in Evendim this time round doing quests, seemed a bit harder this time but I am getting the hang of the place.

Above: Rivendell aint it gorgeous!

Also spent time in Rivendell as well, the place is beautiful and looks just as magical as it did in the movie. Even got to finally meet Frodo and Sam.

Above: Me hanging out in Rivendell with the my home boy's Frodo and Sam.

And at last finally got to meet Gandalf too.

Above: Gandalf, we all know he's the man!

Also got 2 new set pieces too, wooootage! Even tho its not really a burgler set it seems fine by me! :-)

Above: Helmet for the Dwarf Hoard set.

Above: Boots for the Dwarf Hoard set.

The sets are not bind on pickup so no having to spend weeks grinding some instance to get your set when some one is nice enough to post the pieces on the AH for ya! Its definately an improvement in my opinion over WoW in that regard.

And to finish of heres a nice shot of Evendim.

Above: Nice shot from a hill top in Evendim.

Well I have just been accepted as a http://www.mythos.com beta tester so I'll be giving that a crack in the next few minutes as its downloaded and installed, love to tell you about it but its confidental.

Level 35 Mount time WOOOOT!

So finally here I am at level 35 and I now have a Mount.

Above: Me level 35 on my new Mount.

Leveling this time took a little bit more effort as I did it mainly in Evendim solo questing and grinding monsters a level or few above me to get lots of XP. Which meant things could get pretty messy if I bit of more than I could chew.

Above: Some of the more unusual wild life on one of the islands in Evendim

Was stoked to finally ding though and thought sweet time to go get a mount, LOL.

Above: Nice stary night on the new Pony.

But that was not the case, there was about an hours worth of questing riding around delivering mounts for the trainer first, well its XP so its not all bad.

Above: Devilvering a Pony for the quest chain to get riding skill.

So that was entertaining. Once I finished the deliveries I had too do a time trial as the final quest. So I waited for one of my friends Sunwulf who was also on that part of the chain and we did the race together, first time we failed as we didn't quite know where to go, 2nd time we got it and I kained him! LOL (Sorry dude, heheheh)....

Above: Getting some good air in Bree!

Soooo WOOOOOTAGE! Most stoked!

:-)

Level 34

Nice level 34 here we are!

Above: Recently dinged in Evendim.

Tried a few times to get a Garth Agamaur run going but they never seemed to quite get there, and no healer = guarenteed disater even just trying to get to the place, lol! So I moved on from that idea and decided instead to go grind and quest in Evendim. I was only just high enough to solo some things and it was
tough going but got there in the end!

Above: Site seeing in Evendim, say cheeeeese!

Before that I also helped Kiwiblokes get his Drakes deed finally finished, forget exactly how many of the bugger's he had to kill but it was hundred's and I am sure I would of seen a fair share of it, the main challenge being two manning The Mother of the valley.

Above: Kiwiblokes gets his Drake's deed done, Grats man!

And I finally got the shoulders to Dwarf-Hoard set, was a bit miffed yesterday when I got outbid on them. Today another one appeared on the AH, wasn't exactly cheep but I grabbed them instantly of course. Was pretty stoked to get them after yesterday's disappointment. Even though I splurged on the shoulders I have well over 10g, execellent!

Above: Dwarf-Hoard shoulder set piece.

Above: Close up of the Dwarf-Hoard shoulder set piece.

So that's rather cool, not too sure how much of an effort it would be to collect the whole set but by then it will probably be too low level, lol, sigh!

Above: A nice scenic shot from Evendim, check out the moon reflected in the water, very nice!

Well bed time and looking forward to leveling soon and finally getting a mount!

:-)

Level 33

Nice level 33 here we are!

Above: Recently dinged to 33 in North Downs.

Spent some time in Agamaur with a group that never quite got to Garth Agarwen hehe.

Spent a bit of time with Kiwiblokes a level 47 Lore Master of Anzac just killing Worm's and Drake's in Angmar. Was quite a bit of fun as we managed to 2 man Mother of the Vally which was not an easy feat! Chook another level 30-something Lore Master from Anzac joined us for a bit as well, thanks for the hand guys.... :-)

Above: Scrapping out a Drake in Angmar.

Above: More Drake bashing.

We also managed to kill the Black Elite Master Drake Naglongon, was more a revenge killing as he sprung up on us on our first attempt at Mother of the Vally the cheeky sod!

Above: Elite Master Drake Naglongon.

Above: Elite Master Drake Naglongon's portrait.

And I also managed to score my first ever set pieces, albeit for the Dwarf Hoard set.

Above: Gloves of the Dwarf Hoard set.

Above: Chest of the Dwarf Hoard set.

Above: Troggle with the new gloves and chest pieces

So I was pretty stoked about that, sure I'll toss them in a few levels LOL, also managed to pass the 10g barrier by quite a decent amount and if most of my Auctions sell I might even break the 11g barrier when I log in some time tomorrow.

Well back time to sleep, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

:-)

Level 32

Level 32, didnt take long ay?

Above: Leveled during a quest turn in inside Garth Agamaur.

This one has been a hell of a ride too, a real blast! Last night one of the Anzac crew noticed that an elite master Drake had spawned in entrance just before Angmar in North Downs so we got a mainly Anzac fellowship to whip it's butt.

Above: the elite master Drake BleakWind.

He looked pretty cool too and then we headed off into Angmar to kill Cold Worm's and Drake's.

So I finally got round to finding and getting into the next instance after the Great Barrows, Garth Agarwen in Agamaur. Had a ball in the run but didn't have time to complete it as breakfast called.

Above: Ivar a boss in Garth Agarwen.

Above: Ivar's portrait.

It is certainly the most fun I have had in an instance yet! And I even managed to score a key of Ivar.

Above: The key I scored from Ivar.

The place is filled with allot of bosses and all sorts of cool monsters.

Above: Temair the Devoted another boss in Garth Agarwen.

Above: Temair the Devoted's portrait.

There is also a Bog Prowler boss called Rot-Heart.

Above: Rot-Heart one of the many bosses in Garth Agarwen.

Above: Rot-Heart's portrait.

There is even a tree boss, LOL.

Above: GrimBark the tree boss in Garth Agarwen.

Above: GrimBark's portrait.

Well I didnt just spend my entire time leveling in that instance, though it certainly got me allot of XP. Spent a bit of time in Angmar farming ore killing stuff while in a fellowship and running away from most things when not, eeeeeek!

Above: Fighting a Drake in Angmar.

Also spent some time down in the south east end of North Downs with a really nice fellowship killing those nasty elites down there.

Above: Scrapping out a nasty big Troll in south eastern North Downs.

Well now it's time to form an Anzac only fellowship if I can and go do a complete clean out Garth Agarwen for the first time.

:-)
